EOSC-DIH welcomes new Pilots: MiCADO, TRANGO and DigiFARM
EOSC DIH is an international and multi-partner cooperation that supports companies in easily accessing the digital technologies and services offered by the EOSC.
EOSC-DIH combines 4 main pillars to help companies become more competitive: Pilot design and co-design, Technical access, Training & Support and Visibility. Through EOSC DIH, services or products can be designed and tested and pilots or proof of concepts can be carried out. This allows the selected use cases to test their concept before spending large budgets on execution.
Currently, we are running 3 pilots, developing innovative solutions and bringing them to market in different domains, such as car sharing technologies (TRANGO), cloud resource adapters (MiCADO) and agriculture (DigiFARM).
EOSC-DIH is regularly onboarding new pilots from any sector. Are you interested in joining? We will be opening a new call shortly! Stay tuned for updates.
Discover the new pilots:
MiCADO
The open-source engine MiCADO extends the default functionalities of state-of-the-art technology, like Kubernetes, to safeguard the implementation of more complex scaling rules and advanced security features. MiCADO is developing a cloud resource adapter that will allow it to run on EGI/EOSC resources. Discover the plans for MiCADO here.
TRANGO
TRANGO is a car sharing service based on blockchain technology. Supported by a machine learning algorithm, the system will suggest to you the best location for the vehicle you want to share, according to the demand prediction. Discover the plans for TRANGO here.
DigiFarm
DigiFarm’s core vision is to detect the world’s most accurate field boundaries and seeded acres to power precision agriculture, using deep neural network models. This solution will allow agricultural organizations to optimize operations, making better data-driven decisions, reducing seasonal uncertainty, minimising production costs, increasing crop-revenue and enabling key developments in carbon capture, leading to reduction in Co2 footprints. EOSC Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) is part of the EOSC Future project (Work Package 8). EOSC-Future receives funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 101017536.
